Il manga di One Piece continua a svelare nuovi dettagli nell’arco narrativo di Elbaph, e uno degli ultimi capitoli ha finalmente mostrato la terrificante forma del Frutto del Diavolo di Loki, il principe dei giganti.
Dopo un lungo flashback dedicato a Harald e Rocks D. Xebec, la storia è tornata agli eventi presenti, con l’invasione di Elbaph da parte dei Holy Knights del Governo Mondiale. I Cavalieri Sacri hanno preso in ostaggio i bambini dell’isola per costringere i giganti alla resa, ma la situazione sta per cambiare drasticamente con l’arrivo di Luffy e Loki sul campo di battaglia.
Il Frutto del Diavolo di Loki in One Piece
il nome è Ryu Ryu, Zoan Mitologico, modello Nidhogg e come leggiamo anche su Comic Book, il manga ha mostrato che Loki può trasformarsi in un gigantesco drago.
Secondo la storia, questo frutto è stato custodito a Elbaph per secoli e nessuno era stato ritenuto degno di usarlo. Il frutto è legato a Ragnir, il suo guardiano: un martello da guerra animato dal potere del Frutto del Diavolo che appare sotto forma di uno scoiattolo.
Quattordici anni prima degli eventi attuali, Ragnir scelse Loki come degno erede. Dopo aver mangiato il frutto, Loki ottenne un potere così grande da riuscire perfino a fermare la furia del proprio padre e ucciderlo.

Nel Capitolo 1174, il manga mostra finalmente la forma completa del potere di Loki. Il drago che può evocare è così enorme da coprire il cielo, una creatura gigantesca che supera di gran lunga le dimensioni degli altri personaggi presenti.
Quando Loki e Luffy arrivano insieme sul campo di battaglia, anche Luffy in Gear 5 sembra minuscolo in confronto: la sua testa non arriva nemmeno all’altezza delle corna del drago. Il design della creatura ricorda anche il drago raffigurato nel murale mostrato nel Capitolo 1138, suggerendo un legame diretto con la storia antica del mondo.
Un potere legato al Secolo Vuoto
Secondo le parole di Jarul, che cita l’antico testo chiamato Harley, esiste una profezia che parla di un giorno speciale: quando fulmini e neve si incontreranno nel cielo, un gigante apparirà insieme a una creatura leggendaria mentre risuoneranno i “tamburi della liberazione”, simbolo del ritorno del Dio del Sole Nika.
Questo suggerisce che l’alleanza tra Luffy (Nika) e Loki con il suo drago potrebbe avere un significato storico molto più profondo. Molti fan ipotizzano che 800 anni fa potesse esistere una coppia simile, formata da Joy Boy e dal precedente utilizzatore di questo misterioso Frutto del Diavolo.
Con l’arco di Elbaph ormai al centro della Saga Finale, la comparsa di Loki e del suo terribile potere potrebbe cambiare completamente l’equilibrio della guerra che sta per travolgere il mondo di One Piece.
